HOW IT STARTED

"My mom got me a guitar when I was a kid, but it was a little too early.  I didn't really have any interest in it yet.  I started to get curious about it in my early teens.  My mom showed me the basic chords, and any time she'd leave the house I'd take her guitar and go through my pop piano books and sing love songs in my room.   It wasn't until college when I got a little more serious about it and started learning bar chords and finger picking patterns."
